2011 World Sledge Hockey Challenege
Who: The top four finishers from the 2010 Paralympic Winter Games – Canada, Japan, Norway and the United States – will converge on London, Ont. for the fourth edition of the World Sledge Hockey Challenge.
What: The World Sledge Hockey Challenge is one of a number of regular events in which Canada’s National Sledge Team participates, the others being the IPC Sledge Hockey World Championship and Paralympic Winter Games. Canada won gold in 2007 in Kelowna, B.C. and 2008 in Charlottetown, P.E.I. before settling for silver last year in Charlottetown.
