Alumni Program

The CPC Alumni Program iPad2 contest is now closed! Congratulations to the winner - member of the Canadian Para-Alpine Ski Team and two-time Paralympian - Matthew Hallat!

Competing at a Paralympic Games is a prestigious experience, and the CPC is proud of the achievements of Canadian Paralympians.  The Alumni Program aims to bring together both active and retired Paralympians – including guides, pilots, and sport assistants – to share and celebrate their sporting experiences and accomplishments.

By (re)connecting Paralympians with one another, a network of current and former athletes outside of a Games context can be established – one which spans and supports athletes across all sports and generations.  Certainly, once athletes compete for Canada at a Paralympic Games, they are Paralympians for life. It is hoped that the Alumni Program will encourage more Paralympians to maintain a lifelong involvement with the Paralympic Movement in Canada.

Although planning for the Alumni Program is still in its early stages of development, some of our future plans include:

  • Canadian Paralympic Alumni newsletters
  • An Alumni-driven web portal
  • Exclusive Alumni promotions
  • Career counselling sessions
  • Networking opportunities with the CPC and fellow Paralympians

Register now for the Alumni Program!

At this point in time, we are attempting to contact as many active and retired Paralympians as possible.  If you are a Canadian Paralympian and wish to register for the Alumni Program, or who would like further information, please:
