The Canadian Paralympic Committee is pleased to welcome two new staff and announce four new positions up for hire
Alison Korn
Manager, Media Relations
Alison’s 10+ years media experience includes eight years of writing national amateur sport columns for the Toronto Sun and Sun Media, as well as magazine, radio and TV work. She was a key member of Commonwealth Games Canada’s communications team for the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games. As an athlete on the Canadian national rowing team, Alison won medals at several world championships and Olympic Games. An accomplished public speaker, Alison is bilingual and holds a Master of Journalism degree from Carleton University.
Julia Frappier
Coordinator, Website and Social Media
With over five years experience leading innovative advertising campaigns for the health, sport, entertainment and recreation industries, Julia brings a wealth of marketing expertise to the Canadian Paralympic Committee’s communications team. Prior to joining the CPC, Julia worked for Acart Communications, where she led high-profile national accounts with campaigns that leveraged both traditional and new media tactics. Julia is a Skate Canada Professional Coach and volunteered at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games. She is bilingual and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialization in Marketing from the University of Ottawa.

- Senior Coordinator, Recruitment Programs
