The 20-year-old athlete from Calgary, Alberta, was added Thursday to the team after Canada was awarded an additional Para-cycling slot.
McDougall is a CP3 cyclist who will be competing in all road and track individual events, and has the option of entering the road race and team sprint events.
The addition of McDougall brings the number of Paralympic athletes competing for Canada in China to 143. Canada has 144 slots, but Paralympian Tracey Ferguson is competing in both athletics and wheelchair basketball.
