Canadian Paralympic Committee to announce the 2008 Canadian Paralympic Team in Montreal

MONTREAL (July 3, 2008) – 

WHAT: The Canadian Paralympic Committee will unveil the Canadian Team heading to the Beijing Paralympic Games, running September 6-17, 2008, in China. Paralympic team members Benoit Huot, a swimming world record holder, and Chantal Petitclerc, one of the world’s fastest wheelchair racers, will speak. All other Paralympic athletes present will answer questions from the floor, and be available for one-on-one interviews.


Chinese lion dancers will entertain, and some Chinese munchies will be available for the media.

WHEN: Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at 1 p.m.
