Canadian Paralympic Committee to Announce Mission Staff for London 2012 and Guadalajara 2011

Ottawa – April 27, 2011 – On Thursday, April 28, the Canadian Paralympic Committee will announce the Mission Staff for the London 2012 Paralympic Games and the Guadalajara 2011 Parapan American Games.

Among the appointments are two highly-decorated Paralympic athletes and a veteran doctor of eight international multi-sport Games.

A media conference call at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 28 will feature several members of the Mission Staff, as well as Assistant Chef de Mission Elisabeth Walker-Young.

The complete list of Mission Staff will be released Thursday morning.

The 2011 Parapan American Games will be held in Guadalajara, Mexico, from November 19 to 27, while the 2012 Paralympic Games will be in London from Aug. 29 to Sept. 9, 2012.
