MONTREAL, March 13 - Air Canada invites Canadians to support Canada's Paralympic athletes during its annual on-line fundraising initiative by booking travel at aircanada.com . The airline will donate for every online booking made through its website starting March 16 until March 22, 2009. This is part of Air Canada's pledge to donate $750,000 to the Canadian Paralympic Committee over a seven-year period.

"In less than a year's time, Canada's Paralympic teams will be aiming for gold at the Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Winter Games," said Charles McKee, Vice President, Marketing, Air Canada. "All of us at Air Canada invite you to support Canada's inspiring Paralympians by booking travel now. Whether you are looking to book your next business trip, your summer vacation, or travel to Vancouver for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, why not book your tickets online now and back Paralympians at the same time?"

"On behalf of Canada's Paralympic athletes, we invite you to cheer our athletes on by booking your travel during the week of March 16th at aircanada.com . This kind of support from Canadians will help our athletes reach their highest goals," said Brian MacPherson, Chief Operating Officer, Canadian Paralympic Committee.
